The body of an elderly woman found this morning in a field beside CSX railroad tracks on the East Side is believed to be the remains of the missing 84-year-old woman last seen on Sunday, according to authorities.
Police were contacted by CSX employees who discovered the woman’s body at about 8 a.m. lying in a field off a service road by railroad tracks not far from Walden and Wex avenues. There were no outward signs of foul play, police said.
Over the weekend police said that Calvin Graham, who suffers from medical conditions, had been missing. She had last been seen at about 7 p.m. Sunday on the 1700 block of Genesee Street.
