NIAGARA FALLS – Police charged a man with a felony for allegedly attempting to strangle a victim in a domestic violence assault on Sunday.
Daniel J. Regan Jr., 24, of Locust Street, was arraigned Tuesday in City Court on charges of second-degree strangulation/obstruction of breathing, second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child who was a witness to the assault just after 8 p.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of 22nd Street. Bail was set at $5,000 and a return court date for Friday.
