A Buffalo man faces 50 years in prison after pleading guilty last week to robbery charges in connection with five armed robberies last year in Buffalo.
Antonio Bedgood, 36, of Crossman Street, admitted robbing the businesses between Nov. 16 and Nov. 30. He pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree robbery and three counts of second-degree robbery, according to the Erie County District Attorney’s Office.
He robbed a Family Dollar store at 1307 Jefferson Ave.; a Subway sandwich shop at 1285 William St.; and Rite Aid pharmacies at 476 William, 350 Niagara St. and 424 Elmwood Ave.
Bedgood is scheduled to be sentenced by Erie County Judge Sheila A. DiTullio on April 4.
