JAMESTOWN – A 5-year-old girl was fatally injured when her sled was struck by a car on Foote Avenue south of Arterial Street about 6 p.m. Friday, police said.
The victim who was not identified, was taken to WCA Hospital, where she was died later. Jamestown police said the girl was sledding down a hill and her sled went into the traffic.
Police also said they do not expect to charge the driver of the car, who also was not identified.
