A Buffalo man was arrested today by Ferry-Fillmore police officers in connection with the shooting a day earlier of Odell Rainey, 30, on Moselle Street, near McKibben Street.
Michael Wilson, 24, was charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm, obstructing governmental administration, reckless driving and other counts, Buffalo police spokesman Michael J. DeGeorge said.
Rainey, who police said was shot once, then shot at again a few blocks away as he drove himself to Erie County Medical Center, remains hospitalized with injuries that are not life-threatening, DeGeorge said.
The shooting incidents remain under investigation.
