An Akron man has been indicted on child pornography charges by a federal grand jury.
Michael A. Taschetta, 54, is accused of downloading images of child pornography from the Internet utilizing a peer-to-peer software application.
The charge carries a possible prison term of up to 10 years and a fine of up to $250,000 or both. The case stems from an investigation by special agents of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
