A Buffalo man charged with selling heroin has pleaded guilty to federal drug conspiracy charges before U.S. District Magistrate Judge Leslie G. Foschio, U.S. Attorney William G. Hochul Jr. reported Thursday.
John A. Cruz, 26, admitted to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, heroin.
Cruz was arrested in August 2010 along with 16 others. Eight of them have been convicted. Cruz faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine when sentenced.
