NIAGARA FALLS – The windshield of a woman’s car was shattered Easter Sunday afternoon after she parked near the scene of an ongoing street fight, police said.
The victim, a Birch Avenue resident, told police she parked in the 1500 block of Ashland Avenue around 2:20 p.m. while three young men were fighting nearby. One of the men threw an unknown object, shattering the window on the woman’s 2000 Chevrolet, before all three young men fled west along Ashland Avenue.
Damage to the victim’s car was estimated at $200.
