TOWN OF LOCKPORT – Police are checking a gift card found at the scene of a Friday morning car break-in for clues to the identity of the suspect.
Sheriff’s deputies said that sometime overnight, someone entered a car parked outside a home on Meadow Avenue in the Village Mobile Home Park. An unknown amount of change, along with a Tim Horton’s gift card, were stolen from the car. A “Lockport Lions’’ gift card was found in the vicinity that did not belong to the victim, deputies said, and was being checked for fingerprints or other possible clues to the perpetrator.
