NIAGARA FALLS – About $100 worth of copper plumbing was stolen from an 18th Street home over the weekend, while the incoming resident was out of the building.
Police said that someone removed the wood from a rear basement window to enter the home, sometime between 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday. A small amount of copper pipe was taken from the basement area, and a basement door was damaged during the incident, as well.
The victim told police he is in the process of moving into the property and was not at home when the break-in occurred. Total loss was listed at $300.
