WHEATFIELD – Niagara County sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle heading westbound on River Road in the Town of Wheatfield for driving with no insurance, no registration and no license plate lamp at 9:28 p.m. Sunday. The driver and his passengers faced additional charges after heroin and hypodermic needles were found in the vehicle.
Issac C. Patterson, 25, of Upper Mountain Road, Lewiston, was found to be driving with a suspended license and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and operating a motor vehicle with suspended insurance/registration.
Patterson and his passengers, Tiffany A. Pawlukovich, 20, and Christian L. Starr, 32, both of Lockport Road, Niagara Falls were additionally charged with possession of hypodermic needles and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after deputies found needles in the center console and on the seat. Also found was a small clear bag of powder, which was identified as heroin by Starr, who said the package belonged to him. All three were held on $500 bail with a return court date in Wheatfield Town Court today
