Three people were injured in a four-vehicle crash near the intersection of Transit and Robinson roads in the Town of Lockport this morning, state police said.
One driver was taken by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center, state police said as a precautionary measure and is not believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries, authorities said. A second person was transported by ambulance to ECMC and a third person was taken to Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport.
Three cars and a pickup were involved in the crash that occurred at about 6:20 a.m. several hundred feet south of the intersection.
By 7:45 a.m., the scene was cleared.
