Jerry R. Bly, 22, of Clifford Street was charged with grand larceny and other charges for allegedly breaking into a CSX building on Ohio Street about 4 p.m. Monday and stealing steel rails, Buffalo police reported Wednesday.
When Bly was arrested in his car in the seventh block of Ohio Street shortly after the alleged break-in, police reported finding stolen steel rails and burglar’s tools in the vehicle.
He was charged with third-degree grand larceny, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, criminal possession of stolen property and possession of burglar’s tools. He was accused of causing more than $1,000 damage to the CSX building.
