Two hit by buckshot in Bailey-Genesee area

Two people were injured when they were struck with buckshot late this morning in the Bailey-Genesee neighborhood.

The incident happened at Texas Street and Kerns Avenue just before 11:30 a.m.

The two victims did not appear to have serious injuries, Buffalo police spokesman Michael J. DeGeorge said in an email.

Police did not release any further details.
