An East Amherst man who molested four girls over a six-year period was sentenced Tuesday to six months in the Erie County Correctional Facility, followed by 10 years’ probation.
Erie County Judge Kenneth F. Case imposed the sentence on Kenneth F. Lee, 51, who had pleaded guilty in November to two counts of second-degree sexual course of conduct against a child and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
He had faced a maximum possible prison sentence of up to seven years.
He was accused of sexually abusing one girl under 11 from Nov. 1, 2006, to Nov. 30, 2006, and another girl under 11 from July 15, 2009, to Aug. 6, 2009.
The sexual conduct charges involved one girl under 11 from May 2008 to April 2012 and another girl under 13 from September 2006 to 2011.
Joel L. Daniels, Lee’s attorney, said the former Marine sergeant, who had been a drill instructor at Parris Island in South Carolina and later a successful stockbroker, has lost everything, including his wife, who divorced him and moved to Virginia with their children. He said his client wants the victims’ families to know he is very sorry for what he did.
Lee apologized for any harm or pain he caused.
