FREWSBURG – Two men wearing ski masks attempted to abduct a Frewsburg Central School student late Thursday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The student was walking north on Falconer Street in Frewsburg about 3:20 p.m. when the men pulled up in a car near Howard Street and tried to pull him into the car. The student pulled away and reported the incident.
The two suspects, both described as white, were reportedly in a bluish-gray passenger car with angular or squared rear body features and tinted windows.
The passenger who tried to pulled the student into the car was reported wearing a red, long-sleeved shirt and may have had a darker complexion. The car drove off on Falconer.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office at 664-3100 or 753-2131. Officials did not release any information about the sex or grade of the student.
