NIAGARA FALLS – A Maspeth man was arrested in Seneca Niagara Casino Hotel early Saturday after he punched a security supervisor in the face while being removed from a hotel bar, authorities said.
Darryl P. McGonnell, 25, was arrested shortly after the 1:15 a.m. disturbance inside the casino, according to police, who said he was asked to leave twice, and on each occasion confronted hotel employees – bloodying the lip of one.
Earlier in the evening, police arrested a man who is accused of stealing a wallet dropped by another player at a casino table.
Anthony J. Printup, 24, of Packard Court, was charged with two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny following the 10 p.m. incident. Police said he was playing alongside the victim, a Webster woman, when she accidentally dropped her wallet and left the area. The wallet contained $2,700 in cash and several credit cards, police said.
