A Buffalo man on Monday admitted that he robbed a pizza delivery driver of $205 on April 20 after he completed a delivery on Davidson Avenue in the Kensington-Bailey neighborhood.

Leland Jirdon, 35, of Montclair Street, pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery just as his trial was to begin before Erie County Judge Sheila A. DiTullio.

No plea bargain was offered, said Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita III.

Jirdon admitted robbing the delivery person along with Ishamele Adams, 22, of Eggert Road. Adams previously pleaded guilty to the same charge.

Adams faces three and a half to 15 years when he is sentenced Jan. 24.

Jirdon, who has previous violent felony conviction, faces seven to 15 years in prison when he is sentenced on April 22, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said.
