A 19-year-old East Delavan Avenue man was arrested at about 12:30 a.m. Friday in an East Tupper Street alley just after he allegedly robbed a Batavia man of rings, a necklace, a watch, $34 in cash and a bus ticket.
Jamel E. Baxter was charged with a felony count of second-degree robbery and criminal possession of stolen property after police driving past the alley spotted him and found the victim’s belongings in Baxter’s pants pockets.
