WHEATFIELD – A Niagara Falls man who apparently hopped out of his running car on Ward Road for a quick bathroom break faces charges of public lewdness.
William L. Brown, 50, of 98th Street was additionally charged by Niagara County sheriff’s deputies with aggravated unlicensed operation after deputies found his license had been revoked for a previous drunken driving conviction and he additionally was facing several suspensions for failure to pay fines.
A patrol officer reported that he noticed the man leaving his running car to relieve himself along Ward Road at 10 p.m. Saturday. Brown told the deputy he had one beer and was heading to the store to purchase another. He passed roadside sobriety tests, but was found to be driving without a license, the officer said.
