DUNKIRK – A 24-year-old Dunkirk man was arrested early Wednesday afternoon on armed robbery charges linked to a Jan. 23 stickup at the Alma Latina Mex Restaurant on Cliffstar Drive.
A second Dunkirk man is being sought for alleged participation in that holdup.
Jhensen A. Sanchez of 144 King Street, Dunkirk, was taken into custody by detectives about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday. Following his arraignment before City Judge Walter Drag on two counts of first-degree robbery, he was remanded to jail in lieu of either $100,000 cash bail or a $200,000 property bail bond.
A Lincoln Avenue man remains a fugitive on the robbery charges.
