A Buffalo man who suffered a deep puncture wound in a stabbing late Friday night has been treated and released from Erie County Medical Center, authorities said.
Darrel Gibson told South District police that two unknown men who tried to rob him attacked him at about 11 p.m. at Chicago and Fulton Streets, in the city’s Michigan-South Park Avenue area.
Following the stabbing, the two assailants fled east toward the playground area of the nearby Perry public housing complex, police said.
