Fire in a vacant 1 1/2-story wooden house at 216 Baitz Avenue tonight caused $20,000 damage to that structure and $5,000 to the occupied building next door at 214 Baitz. The fire which began on the first floor of the vacant building and spread to the roof, was called in about 7:55 p.m. No injuries were reported.
