A Williamsville man was sentenced to 60 days in jail after being convicted of driving drunk for a third time.
Anthony Deleon, 29, of Wehrle Drive, was arrested on Jan. 17 after a Cheektowaga police officer pulled him over on Park Edge Drive. Deleon had been driving with a license that was revoked after a previous DWI conviction, a police department spokesman said.
After pleading guilty to driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, Deleon was sentenced by Cheektowaga Town Justice Paul Piotrowski. The judge considered Deleon’s previous convictions for DWI and other crimes when imposing the sentence, the spokesman said.
