A former North Tonawanda woman has been identified as the victim of a shooting in northwest Wisconsin.
The Sawyer County Sheriff’s officials said Claudia Bunny, 38, was shot Jan. 18 near Hayward by her boyfriend, Kerry Stevenson, 52, of Louisiana.
Authorities said Bunny was apparently shot inside the truck, where she was found after Stevenson showed up at a restaurant screaming, his clothes covered with blood.
Bunny, who is believed to be in critical condition, lived in North Tonawanda between 2002 and 2008.
Stevenson reportedly had alcohol in his system when he was arrested, authorities said. He was charged with reckless injury and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
