A 30-year-old Williamsville man was arrested early Friday morning and charged with felony driving while intoxicated, state police in Clarence reported.

Donald C. Brenner was stopped at about 1:30 a.m. on Transit Road in Clarence after his Jeep Grand Cherokee moved unsafely from the lane of traffic, according to troopers. He showed signs of intoxication, failed roadside sobriety tests, and a breath test indicated his blood-alcohol content was 0.11 percent, state police said.

A check of Brenner’s driving record showed a previous conviction for DWI within the previous 10 years, which resulted in his being charged with a felony, troopers said.

He was issued traffic tickets to appear in the Town of Clarence Court on a later date.
