LOCKPORT – State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. ordered a Niagara Falls man Thursday to serve five years on probation, beginning with 18 months in jail, for two drug felonies.
Vintaun D. Weathers, 28, of Linwood Avenue, had pleaded guilty in September to fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, which led to his ouster from the court-supervised drug treatment program to which he had been admitted after a 2012 guilty plea.
On the earlier case, Weathers admitted to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance for selling cocaine Aug. 18, 2011, in the Town of Niagara. The newer case involved possession of cocaine March 23.
Weathers also had to forfeit $435 seized from him after the first arrest.
