Mother-and-son drug dealers avoid prison

LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls woman and her son each were placed on five years’ probation Wednesday for dealing drugs in the Falls in 2012.

Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas imposed the sentences on Evelyn George, 48, and Eddie George Jr., 27, of Ninth Street.

Each had pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, the mother for selling cocaine and hydrocodone and the son for selling hydrocodone and oxymorphone.
