JAMESTOWN – A 21-year-old Sherman man was arrested by state police on gun and weapons charges after he was stopped Sunday afternoon on State Route 304 in the Town of North Harmony because of a loud exhaust system on his car.
Kasey M. Erhard was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of fireworks after troopers said they found in his vehicle a shotgun with a defaced serial number and a quantity of marijuana and fireworks. He was issued an appearance ticket for North Harmony Town Court proceedings in two weeks.
