Four thieves took off with $1,400 in cash from a Delaware Avenue coffee and doughnut shop Friday night.
A clerk at the Dunkin Donuts store at 2340 Delaware Ave. told police the robbery happened around 10:15 p.m. as she was locking up for the night.
The four men were dressed in dark clothes and hoods and wore camouflage masks. One displayed a black semi-automatic handgun, the woman told police.
They took $1,400 from the store, as well as the clerk’s wallet, which contained her identification, a credit card and $70 in cash, before fleeing southbound toward the Kmart parking lot, according to a police report.
