SHERMAN – Two passengers were injured and a 20-year-old Pennsylvania driver was ticketed after his car slid down a snow embankment and into a field when he failed to stop Wednesday at the intersection of Titus Road and State Route 76 in the town of Sherman, state police reported Thursday.
Cassie M. Seekings of Corry, Pa., was ticketed for failing to stop at the stop sign as he headed west on Titus Road and for unsafe tires.
His passengers, Christopher S. Gibbons, 24, of Sherman and Justin M. Gibbons, 23, of Corry, were taken by ambulance to Westfield Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Seekings is due to appear Jan. 21 in Sherman Town Court.
