A man was injured on Goodyear Avenue over the weekend as Buffalo police investigated multiple incidents of shots being fired, according to crime reports.

The Goodyear resident told police he was outside his house shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday when a someone in a black Chevrolet Impala drove by and fired three shots, striking him in his buttocks. The vehicle was last seen heading north on Goodyear toward East Ferry Street.

The victim was taken by ambulance to ECMC for treatment.

On Sunday night, two separate incidents on opposite sides of the city occurred within minutes of each other, police reported.

Each happened just before 10:30 p.m., said police, who first were called to the 300 block of Plymouth Avenue on the West Side to investigate the complaint of a 24-year-old man. The man said he was in fear for his life after several rounds were fired through his house windows causing extensive damage. A witness told police he saw a possible suspect leave the scene in a red sedan.

Meanwhile on the East Side, police said several vehicles were struck by gunfire in the 500 block of Lisbon Avenue. One of the vehicles was later involved in an accident at Lisbon and Orleans Street, police reported.
