NIAGARA FALLS – Police said a shoplifting incident about 6:20 p.m. Friday at the Super Walmart on Military Road led to more problems for a Town of Niagara woman.
The woman and a man in dentified as her boyfriend were pulled over in a vehicle by Town of Niagara police more than a mile from the store, authorities said.
Police said they recovered items stolen from the store, as well as several tablets of a prescription drug from the woman’s purse.
Jessica R. Burling, 20, of Miller Road, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance outside its original container. Both she and Brandon A. Belviso, 21, also of Miller Road, were charged each with petit larceny.
