Two men wanted on warrants by the City of Niagara Falls were arrested on several other charges by Clarence troopers after a car hit a tree late Thursday afternoon on Miland Road in the Town of Clarence.

No one was with the blue Ford Taurus when troopers located the vehicle, but neighbors reported having seen the same type of car at a nearby residence. Troopers located the owner and driver of the car, David Taylor, 21, and his passenger, Brian A. Bator, 20, both of Miland Road, and report that Taylor had a suspended restricted-use driver’s license.

Troopers also said a pillbox containing one Tramidol pill was found in the car. Both men were charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance, and Taylor also was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident and aggravated unlicensed operation.

The two were then turned over to the City of Niagara Falls police due to the other outstanding warrants.
