NIAGARA FALLS – A Pine Street businessman said cash, jewelry, clothing, cigarettes, cigars and a television set were stolen from his home in the 700 block of 15th Street sometime between 5 and 10 p.m. Wednesday.
The 59-year-old man said he had $7,800 in business cash that he was going to deposit the next day, as well as $2,000 worth of Newport cigarettes in the house. Loss was estimated at $11,000 along with an undetermined amount of jewelry.
The victim said he believes someone entered through an unlocked window. Police said they found no signs of forced entry.
