MAYVILLE – Selection of a jury in the second-degree murder case of Anthony R. Taglianetti did not start as planned Tuesday.

According to District Attorney David Foley, a question came up about some of the evidence to be used in the case, and a hearing will be held at 2 p.m. today on the issue.

Foley said the issue was brought to the attention of the court Tuesday morning before the jury selection process started. He said potential jurors will be asked to return Thursday, when selection is expected to begin again.

Taglianetti is charged in the death of Keith Reed Jr., who was the superintendent of Clymer Central School.
