Harold R. Hunt, a 39-year-old Versailles man who pleaded guilty to forcing a 12-year-old to submit to oral sex in the Town of Yorkshire six years ago, was ordered Monday by Cattaraugus County Judge Ronald D. Ploetz in Little Valley to serve a 12-year prison term on his guilty pleas to first-degree criminal sexual act, first-degree incest and endangering the welfare of a child. The judge ordered 12 year terms for each of the felonies and a one-year term for the misdemeanor but made them all concurrent.
Hunt, currently being held at the Cattaraugus County Jail, pleaded guilty July 8.
Cattaraugus County District Attorney Lori Pettit Rieman said Hunt committed the crimes between October and December 2007.
The judge ordered Hunt to undergo five years of supervision once he is released from prison.
In other court action Monday in Cattaraugus County:
• Misty D. Luce, 31, of Salamanca, was ordered to serve one to three years in prison on her June 24 guilty plea to third-degree burglary for a break-in at a building in the Town of Allegany last Dec. 24.
• Nathan A. Green, 31, of Olean, faces a prison term of up to 15 years on his guilty plea to criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fourth degree for sellling Suboxin on the street in the City of Olean last Sept. 19. He faces sentencing Nov. 12.
• Marlow T. Day, 28, of Allegany, was sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service on his July 8 guilty plea to a felony charge of driving while intoxicated for an incident Oct. 12 in the Town of Allegany. Ploetz also revoked Day’s driver’s license.
• Ryan M. Klein, 26, of Olean, was sentenced to five years of probation, fined $1,000 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service on his July 8 guilty plea to a felony charge of driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle Feb. 6 in the City of Olean.
The judge also revoked his driver’s license because at the time of the Olean arrest he had a blood alcohol level of 0.22 percent, nearly three times the state’s .08 percent legal limit, and he was driving with a suspended license because of an earlier alcohol-related conviction, the district attorney said.
• Mark F. Ciancio, 58, of Portville, was placed on probation for three years and ordered to perform 75 hours of community service and make $312.59 restitution on his July 8 guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of misuse of food stamps for knowingly and unlawfully using another person’s food stamps in the City of Olean between Sept. 14, 2012. and Oct. 12, 2012.
