A Royal Avenue man charged with criminal mischief and harassment is accused of punching a woman in the face as they argued over money at Delaware and Hertel avenues about 11:30 p.m. Thursday. Daniel Covert, 43, also is accused of breaking her victim’s $300 cellphone.
