A Schutrum Street man is charged with the rape of a Buffalo woman who was followed to her Newfield Street apartment and attacked Saturday afternoon, Buffalo police said.
Jacob Lokey, 23, is charged with third-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse and second-degree burglary.
The victim was walking home from a Skillen Street convenience store at 3:20 p.m., when Lokey followed her into her Newfield Street apartment and raped her. Lokey, who stole two cellphones, was apprehended by police at Tonawanda Street and Esser Avenue, authorities said.
