A property damage accident in the Town of Concord late Wednesday resulted in the arrest of a Lockport man on a drunken driving charge, the Erie County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Deputy Donald Hoelscher was dispatched at about 10:40 p.m. to investigate an accident on northbound Route 219. He quickly determined the driver, Brian Basior, 50, was intoxicated and arrested him on a charge of driving while intoxicated, authorities said.
Basior refused to submit to a breath test to determine his blood-alcohol content, authorities said. He was released on tickets to appear in Concord Town Court.
