Amherst police are searching for the man who robbed an Amherst bank Tuesday morning.
The robbery occurred at about 10 a.m. at the KeyBank branch at 5200 Main St. at North Forest Road.
The robber handed a teller a note demanding money and stating that he had a gun, police said. He fled with an undetermined amount of money.
The robber was approximately 40 years old, 6 feet, 2 inches tall and 180 pounds.
