An employee of Niagara Lubricants at 711 Northland Avenue was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of second-degree burns following a fire today at the building, authorities said.
Buffalo Fire and Haz-Mat crews were called to the five-story frame building to deal with a fire in a hopper unit at about 1:37 p.m.
Damage to contents of the building was listed as $60,000 but there was no damage to the building structure itself.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
