A woman fended off two would-be robbers Saturday afternoon in Riverside.
The woman was followed by two teenagers after she walked away from a gas station sometime between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday, according to Buffalo police reports.
While at Skillen Street and Esser Avenue, the two teens tried to take money out of the woman’s hand. The woman fought off the two, giving one of the teens a swift kick to the groin.
The woman suffered a small laceration on her foot and a bruise on her back from the altercation, police said.
