One-hundred-thirty people on hand Sunday for the Toby Keith concert at Darien Lake Performing Art Center were arrested on a variety of charges, mostly underage drinking.
The arrests included two Amherst brothers in the concert parking lot, authorities said. The bulk of those arrested were issued appearance tickets by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.
Jeremy M. Perez, 24, of Ayrault Drive, Amherst, was remanded to Genesee County Jail after his arraignment in Darien Town Court on aggravated driving while intoxicated, posting a blood-alcohol reading of 0.18 percent, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Deputies said Perez drove off in a pickup after hitting another car in the venue’s parking lot. Perez also was driving with a revoked driver’s license, authorities said.
His brother, Joshua M. Perez, 21, of the same address, was charged with disorderly conduct after causing a parking lot disturbance, deputies said. He also was remanded to jail following arraignment in Town Court.
Meanwhile, Mark A. Ritchie, 29, of Warden Avenue, Niagara Falls, Ont., was charged with criminal trespass after re-entering the concert venue after being ejected, deputies said.
He also was jailed following arraignment.
Deputies issued citations for underage drinking to 93 people and arrested another 12 for traffic infractions involving possession of a fictitious license and 10 others involving possession of another person’s driver’s license. All face appearances in Town Court on Aug. 6 and 13.
