Northeast District police have arrested a 22-year-old man accused of using a butcher knife to stab another man multiple times inside a vehicle on Northumberland Avenue on Sunday night.

The victim, Dorian Batchelor, told police that his assailant displayed the butcher knife and then stabbed him in the neck, back and bicep in the 600 block of Northumberland, off Kensington Avenue, according to police.

Batchelor was given a ride to his Parkridge Avenue home, before being driven to Erie County Medical Center, where he was treated and released, authorities said.

Quandra Fields, 22, of Donaldson Road, was arrested a short time later at Kensington and Northumberland avenues, and charged with second-degree assault, robbery and weapons possession, police said.
