An Alden man was charged with driving drunk early Sunday after troopers found his car in a Clarence ditch, state police said.
Matthew K. Frayne, 20, failed roadside sobriety tests after his car was found in a ditch on Countyline Road after 1 a.m., troopers said. They said they also found marijuana and cans of beer in the vehicle.
Frayne refused to submit to a breath test and was charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and alcohol, and multiple traffic violations, troopers said. Frayne was ordered to appear in Clarence Town Court on Jan. 17.
