LOCKPORT – A 14-year-old boy was taken by Mercy Flight to Women and Children’s Hospital, Buffalo, with leg and head injuries after he was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle along Robinson Road in the Town of Lockport about 4:45 p.m. Monday, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Deputies said the boy was riding west on the south shoulder of the road when he pulled into the westbound lane of the highway into traffic. Officers said his injuries did not appear to be life threatening. An infant in the vehicle was taken to Women and Children’s Hospital as a precaution.
