NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. – 31-year-old Niagara Falls man was seriously injured at 7 a.m. Wednesday when hit by an SUV while cutting grass on Beaverdams Road. just west of Kalar Road.
The victim was being treated in Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, with life-threatening injuries. Niagara Regional Police said the driver of the SUV, a 41-year-old Niagara Falls woman, lost control and the SUV slammed into the man, who was cutting grass along the shoulder of the road. The driver was treated for minor injuries in Greater Niagara General Hospital and released.
