Four fire companies responded to a fire that broke out at the Gramco feed mill Sunday afternoon in Springville.
The fire broke out around 2 p.m. at the mill, located at 299 Waverly St., according to a dispatcher with the Springville Volunteer Fire Company. The fire required response from the Springville, East Concord, Mortons Corners and Chaffee-Sardinia fire companies.
The fire was brought under control, with the last units leaving the scene at 5:30 p.m. The extent of the blaze, cause and damages were unclear Sunday evening. The last known time a fire occurred at the feed mill was in 2007.
