A 31-year-old Town of Boston man was arrested for driving while intoxicated when state troopers tracked him down Wednesday evening after receiving a complaint about his erratic driving on Boston State road.
Based on witness information about the license plate of the offenders car, troopers drove to the Zimmerman road home of Brandon McWhirter about 7 p.m. and found him still intoxicated, according to police reports.
After McWhirter failed field sobriety tests but refused to submit to blood-alcohol testing he was arrested and processed at the State Police Boston Station in the Town of Boston. He was released pending proceedings in Boston Town Court and by the State Department of Motor Vehicles.
